Unilever Food Solutions asked Dynamic Events to deliver their 2025 Kick-Off Conference. The goal was simple: unite UK and Ireland teams, celebrate achievements, and set a clear direction for the year ahead.
We designed a three-day programme with strategic sessions, team building, and unforgettable evening experiences. The result was a seamless corporate event that balanced business focus with team connection.
The Challenges
- Multiple moving parts – AV, photography, hotel partners, flights, entertainment, and speakers all had to run without delays.
- Tight timelines – With a full programme, every detail from arrivals to evening entertainment had to be managed with precision.
- High expectations – The event had to do more than run smoothly. It needed to inspire, connect, and leave lasting impact.

The Dynamic Events Approach: A Day-by-Day Breakdown
Day 1: Preparation & Rehearsals
Our team arrived at Kilkea Castle to oversee the AV setup in the Baronial Suite, ensuring everything was tested and ready. We conducted a full run-through with the conference committee, aligning on final details before the event kicked off.
Day 2: Welcome & Awards Night
➜ Attendee Registration: The UK & IE teams checked in, collected their name tags, headshots, and team jumpers before enjoying a welcome lunch.
➜ Opening Conference Sessions: Teams reflected on the past year and outlined strategic goals for the year ahead.
➜ Evening Awards Ceremony: A gala dinner followed, featuring:
- Entertainment by our Magician
- Caricatures
- Live music
Day 3: Strategy, Team Building & Celebration
➜ Morning Energiser: Attendees started the day with a run or a HIIT class, setting the tone for a productive day ahead.
➜ Interactive Breakout Sessions: Teams rotated through brainstorming discussions, refining their strategies for the coming year.
➜ Surprise Flag-Raising Ceremony: A special moment where teams celebrated their unity with a flag ceremony guided by live drummers.
➜ Treasure Hunt Team Building Activity: A fun, competitive activity designed to strengthen cross-team collaboration.
➜ Final Gala Dinner & Celebration: Featuring:
- Celtic music performance with traditional dancers
- Retro arcade machines & a DJ to close the night
Day 4: Closing & Departure
After a final breakfast and reflection session, the team wrapped up the conference, said their goodbyes, and left feeling inspired and motivated for the year ahead.
The Amazing Transformation
Before: Unilever’s team were feeling the pressure of organising a 3 day conference event filled to the brim with meetings and entertainment. Co-ordinating over 90 people and creating the content for the speakers ahead of the conference, it seemed like to big of a task.
After: Unilever were full of energy and excitement throughout the whole conference. The event ran seamlessly, and it exceeded everyone's expectations. The team left Kilkea Castle feeling inspired and motivated for the year ahead.
