But when you’re trying to create an unforgettable day for 700 employees, the pressure builds quickly: 

• A racecourse isn’t an event space... Until it needs to be. We had to rethink the layout, flow and facilities to turn it into something amazing.  
• The Irish weather doesn’t take bookings. With unpredictable wind and potential rain, a solid Plan B was crucial.  
• Every detail had to work hard. From food to entertainment, nothing could fall flat, this was all about staff appreciation.

We made the space work hard 

What was once a racecourse became a festival ground, complete with:  

• Archway entrance 
• Bright festival flags and giant deck chairs for photo ops 
• Dedicated zones for games, music and food 

We brought the festival to them 

The setup felt like an Irish summer festival: 

• Food trucks, bars and chillout areas with beanbags and deck chairs 
• Games galore  
• Carnival stalls 
• Inflatable basketball and Hoopla 
• Connect 4, foosball, cornhole, giant buzzers 
• Inflatable axe throwing and crazy golf 
• Stilt walkers and a brass band on arrival 
• Smash Hits and Ones & twos DJs who nailed the energy throughout the day 

We handled all logistics 

• Early setup, on-site coordination and full Plan B weather prep 
• Sound systems running across the grass area and pavilion  
• Professional stage management from set up to final beat 

The Incredible Transformation 

Before: The worry was all about making sure the event space was used to its fullest extent we needed to ensure that the whole festival connected, and no one felt like disconnected from certain parts while walking around.  

After: The racecourse was buzzing. Staff were laughing, dancing and soaking up the sun. From carnival games to main stage music, the event had that feeling fun, relaxed and full of connection.
